Granting Bitwave Access to Your Google My Business Account
This guide will walk you through granting my marketing company access to manage your Google My Business account. This will allow us to update your information, respond to reviews, and optimize your listing to improve your online presence.
Here’s what you’ll need:
A computer or mobile device with internet access
Your Google My Business login credentials (email address and password)
Steps to Grant Access:
Log in to Google My Business: Visit Google My Business and sign in using your Google account associated with your business profile.
Select Your Business: If you have multiple locations, choose the one you’d like to grant access to.
Go to the Users Section: In the three-dot navigation menu, click on “Business Profile Settings”, then in the window that pops up click “People and Access”
Invite Your Marketing Agency: Click the “+ Add” button in the top right corner. Enter the email address ‘[email protected]‘
Assign Manager Role: Under the Access section, select “Manager“. This will grant us permission to manage most aspects of your listing, but you’ll retain ownership.
Send Invite: Double-check the information and click “Invite” to send the access request to our email address.
We’ll Receive and Accept the Invitation: We’ll receive an email notification and accept the invitation to gain access to your Google My Business account.
Important Note: As the owner, you’ll still have full control over your listing and can view all activity. You can also modify or remove our access at any time.
